 When choosing a company that supplies pallet rack it is important to know what you are buying. There are many different types of pallet rack on the market and some are notably better. Many times venders will sell you used pallet rack and the rack is actually used or refurbished rack. While in most cases used pallet rack is fine, you want to make sure you are getting what you paid for.
Here are a few questions to ask before buying pallet rack:
- Is the pallet rack new, used or refurbished?
- What brand of pallet rack is it?
- If it is used, is there excessive rush or damage?
- Will they provide you with a written quote on the pallet rack?
- Will they give you a delivery date in writting.
Make sure to completely explain what you will be using the pallet rack for and what is the estimate weight load will be. It is also a good idea to have the dimensions of the space and position of any structures within the warehouse so they can get you the most effective rack.
